About Me - Isabella

I’m Isabella Puisor, a dedicated student at George School, PA, where I’m working toward my IB Diploma with a focus on mathematics, biology, and Latin studies. My passion for understanding neurological disorders led me to research the connection between the gut microbiome and conditions like Alzheimer’s disease, a project that will soon be published in JSR.

I believe in the power of community and service.

As the leader of the Medforum Club, I organize discussions on medical ethics and healthcare issues. I’ve also volunteered with Special Equestrian, where I assist children with disabilities during therapeutic riding sessions.

My interest in animal-assisted therapy grew from both personal experience and my desire to help neurodivergent children. As an equestrian, I’ve seen how animals, particularly horses, can bring healing and regulation.

I’m passionate about using animal therapy to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism and other neurological conditions.
